EXPOSING THE LIES
At the “supernatural life” website we discover the New Apostolic Reformation bunch is holding a conference starting today and lasting through Sunday, October 2. The conference is entitled, “Living in the Culture of Heaven.” The site states the purpose of the conference as such: “Encounter God. Release Heaven. Change the Earth.” Additionally, we read: “Divine insight. Wisdom. Love. Overcoming joy. Miraculous healing. God wants to flood our lives with His presence and power so that we can touch our families, communities and the world around us. He wants to pour out His nature, His divine attributes and fill us with His power and grace!” Those familiar with Dominion Theology can recognize the jargon specific to these teachings, but if such theology is new to you, here is an excellent blog concerning it:
Speakers at the event include -
Lance Wallnau - A proponent of the Seven Mountain Mandate (part of Dominion Theology) which says there are seven kingdoms/mountains/cultures/pillars/spheres in every society and individual Christians are to bring the Kingdom of God down into the sphere over which they have influence. These spheres are government, education, religion, business, media, arts and entertainment, and family. According to Wallnau, God wants to partner supernaturally with you to bring you into “occupation” of new territory. A new company of “kings and priests” is being activated in every sphere of culture to bring forth a testimony of the kingdom. He made the following statement at a service at the Toronto Revival in 2011: "It’s important to know what’s happening now is the gospel of salvation, which was considered the endgame – getting people saved so they can go to heaven when they die – is being redefined in the context of the gospel of the Kingdom, which does something with you after you’re saved, so you have a life of significance before you go to heaven.”
Patricia King – Part of the NAR, she is founder of XP Ministries and has a program entitled, “Everlasting Love.” Here is one of her programs in which she discusses how our worship affects angels:
Another example of her false teaching is her promotion of “Ekstasis,” a form of trance dancing. This neo-pagan practice leads the participants into a place beyond regular worship and into the freedom to dance and celebrate their love for Jesus Christ with an all new abandoned level of expression and experience. This video features Patricia and her itinerant pastor, Caleb Brundidge, who doubles as a travelling DJ and calls his show “Club Mysterio.”
Heidi Baker – An “apostle” in the NAR, she has spoken many times at the Toronto Revival and Bill Johnson’s Bethel church. Here is an incredibly disturbing video of her “ministering” at Bethel church:
In the video at the top of this facebook page we see Heidi Baker and a Muslim woman who allegedly received her sight when Heidi Baker laid hands on her and prayed. The local Christian pastor wanted to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with this Muslim in order for her to understand the basis of her healing and he was told “just love her” by Baker. Interestingly, as Baker left after praying for this woman, the video records the woman extolling her Muslim faith and the Koran.
Nick Hall – The organizer of the ecumenical “Together 2016” event:
Concerning the recent Together 2016 gathering in Washington D.C., the writers at Herescope
http://herescope.blogspot.co.uk/2016/07/resetting-reformation.html ask this thought-provoking question – “Why is Hall using the Ouroboros “O” as his Reset logo? This is an important question. Compare the unbiblical and esoteric form of unity symbolized in the Ouroboros with its idea of “an eternal cycle of destruction and re-creation” to Hall’s concept of a “reset” button which, when mystically pushed, formulates profound spiritual change.
Here is Hall's vision of his RESET Movement: A reset to our created purpose. In 2012, a group of people from different backgrounds, known then as RESET Movement, began sharing the message of a “reset” at events and gatherings. The term relates to technology, where a reset clears past errors and gets the system working toward its created purpose. In the same way, every person is created for a purpose—but we have downloaded the wrong files, corrupted the system, and fallen away from God’s best for our lives. Each of us needs a reset, and Jesus offers everyone a supernatural reset.
Clever as it sounds, Hall’s “reset” message is not biblical. It is NOT the true Gospel. We aren’t hapless victims who have unwittingly “downloaded the wrong files” that have “corrupted the system.” We are sinners born of Adam who need to confess and repent of our sin and believe that Jesus Christ alone, the Lamb of God, paid for our sin on the Cross with His own blood.
Additionally, here is a very interesting link concerning the use of the ouroboros symbol in many cultures throughout history.
We must not be deceived by Dominion Theology, or the seven mountain mandate aspect of it, which distorts eschatology tremendously. True believers will rule and reign with Jesus, but that is in the future millennial period, not now. Rev. 5:10 "And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth." Also, Rev. 20:6 "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years."
During this current time period, we are to preach the gospel of salvation. The true message of repentance and forgiveness of sins; Jesus coming to seek and save the lost; hearing there is a heaven to gain and a hell to shun.
Rom. 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek."
Eph. 1:13 "In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise."
1 Cor. 15:1-4 "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures."
